How to get there

Car

London Southend is within an hour's drive of the capital, with the A127 providing easy access to the M25, A13, A12 and other roads.

Motorists approaching from the north should join the M25 going southbound and exit at Junction 29, which connects drivers with the A127 and the new airport road.

Parking is available next to the railway station, with the terminal a short walk away. The short-stay car park charges daily or weekly.

Train

People looking to catch a train from London will find a regular service from Liverpool Street. The average journey time to the airport is about 53 minutes from Liverpool Street and 44 minutes from Stratford in east London.

With a railway station that is just 100 paces away from the new terminal building, Southend claims to be among the country's most accessible airports.
