Paris Orly Airport (ORY) is the second largest airport in Paris, France. It is France’s busiest airport for domestic travel and serves more than 30 million passengers a year. It is a secondary hub for Air France and Transavia France’s main homebase. It is also a hub for Air Caraibes, and an operating base for Corsair, French Bee, La Compagnie, Vueling, and easyJet. It is 13km (8mi) south of Paris.

Orly Airport is most popular for flights from France

Paris has two main airports, Orly (ORY) and Charles de Gaulle (CDG). CDG is the larger of the two and offers more international flights. ORY is the smallest of the two and people comment that it is usually less crowded. It also handles more domestic flights and is located closer to central Paris. OrlyVal is a shuttle train that connects to the RER B line, which provides direct access to central Paris. Hours of operation are 6:00am-11:35pm. Tickets cost about 15 EUR, and the expected transit time is under 40 minutes.

A third option is to take the Metro 7 and Tram 7 lines. This will take you longer, usually over an hour, to reach central Paris. However, it is a cheaper option, usually under 10 EUR.

Taxis to Paris will be expected to cost you between 35 to 45 EUR. The expected travel time to reach the city is approximately 30 minutes. Car rental counters are also available from each terminal at the airport.
