Pegasus Airlines' hubs and operating bases
Pegasus' primary hub is Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW). The airport hosts nearly two-thirds of the airline’s flights and offers direct flights to more than 130 destinations.
The airport is located in the Asian part of Istanbul and should not be confused with the larger and busier Istanbul Airport, home to Turkish Airlines.
Other important Pegasus bases include the airports in İzmir (ADB), Ankara (ESB), and Antalya (AYT). They are predominantly used for domestic shuttles and leisure routes.
Pegasus Airlines also utilizes several other smaller Turkish cities as operating bases - Adana/Mersin, Bodrum, Dalaman, Ercan, Kayseri, Trabzon, and Samsun, as of the time of writing.
Selected domestic direct flights
Pegasus has the strongest domestic network in Turkey, with over 55 unique routes. It connects major airports in the country but also smaller, underserved regions.
Some of Pegasus Airlines’ most popular domestic routes are:
Istanbul (SAW) - Ankara (ESB): As many as 9 PC flights daily between the capital and the largest city.
Istanbul (SAW) - İzmir (ADB): 7 to 10 daily flights to the largest city on the Aegean coast.
Istanbul (SAW) - Antalya (AYT): Pegasus’ busiest domestic route with more than 80 flights weekly.
İzmir (ADB) - Kayseri (ASR): Four flights weekly between the Aegean and one of the closest airports to Cappadocia.
Ankara (ESB) - Bodrum (BJV): A once-daily link between the capital and the pearl of the Turkish Riviera.
Direct flights to Europe with Pegasus Airlines

On many of those routes, especially to Germany and Vienna, where a huge number of Turkish diaspora live, Pegasus competes with SunExpress (XQ), a low-cost airline owned in equal parts by Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa.
Istanbul (SAW) - Amsterdam (AMS): Up to 27 flights weekly.
Istanbul (SAW) - Dusseldorf (DUS): Serves a large Turkish diaspora with 4 daily flights.
Istanbul (SAW) - London Stansted (STN): One of the busiest Pegasus’ international routes, with 4-6 daily departures in each direction.
Antalya (AYT) - Hamburg (HAM): One flight daily for the German leisure market and the Turkish diaspora.
Ankara (ESB) - Vienna (VIE): Three flights per week between the two capitals.
Pegasus Airlines’ popular regional routes
Besides direct flights to Europe, Pegasus also offers hundreds of flights daily to destinations in the Middle East, the Caucasus, Russia, and North Africa.
Here are some of the airline’s most popular flights:
Istanbul (SAW) - Hurghada (HRG): Pegasus flies twice a day on average to this Egyptian seaside resort city.
Istanbul (SAW) - Moscow (VKO): Thrice-daily service to the Russian capital.
Ankara (ESB) - Ercan (ECN): A frequent connection to the Turkish side of Cyprus.
Antalya (AYT) - Amman (AMM): A popular direct flight to Jordan.
