Direct flights with airBaltic (BT) - Find all destinations
airBaltic (IATA: BT) is the flag carrier of Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. Its primary hub is in Riga (RIX), with bases in Tallinn (TLL), Vilnius (VNO), and Tampere (TMP), from where the airline serves more than 80 international destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus. You can explore all airBaltic direct flights using the filter tool below.
airBaltic was founded in 1995 as the flag carrier of Latvia. The closure of other airlines in the region in the 2010s and 2020s has made airBaltic the only flag carrier for all the Baltic countries - Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
airBaltic flies to more than 85 destinations from its bases in the three capitals - Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius, as well as Tampere in Finland. It focuses on connecting the region with Europe’s largest airports as well as providing direct flights to holiday destinations.
The airline operates exclusively Airbus A220‑300 aircraft - it is the largest A220 operator in Europe with 50 in service and 40 on order. This limits airBaltic to flights within a 7-8 hours radius - enough to reach the Middle East but not to fly direct to the US or East Asia.

airBaltic hubs and operating bases
The primary hub of airBaltic and the airport with the most flights is Riga International Airport (RIX). It offers direct flights to 75+ international destinations.
Secondary bases are the capital airports in the other two Baltic countries, namely Tallinn (TLL) and Vilnius (VNO). They offer direct flights across Europe, including many leisure destinations in the summer months.
Tampere (TMP) in Finland is also a secondary base, though airBaltic flies only a handful of destinations from there.
Lastly, Gran Canaria/Las Palmas (LPA) is a seasonal base operating winter flights to Scandinavian and Baltic capitals.
Regional flights with airBaltic
airBaltic doesn’t operate any domestic flights due to the small size of the countries it serves. However, it does interlink all three Baltic states and provides nonstop flights within the broader Nordic region, including Scandinavia and Finland.
Some of airBaltic’s popular regional routes are:
Vilnius (VNO) - Riga (RIX): An inter-Baltic link between the capitals of Lithuania and Latvia with 3-4 flights per day.
Tallinn (TLN) - Riga (RIX): The other popular inter-Baltic route with 4-5 flights per day between the capitals of Estonia and Latvia.
Riga (RIX) - Helsinki (HEL): A core Baltic‑Nordic route for the airline with 25 flights per week.
Riga (RIX) - Stockholm Arlanda (ARN): Around 14 weekly flights connecting the Baltics with Sweden.
Riga (RIX) - Oslo Gardermoen (OSL): airBaltic offers two flights per day to Norway.
Other Nordic cities served include Tampere in Finland, Copenhagen in Denmark, and Palanga in Lithuania.
airBaltic’s longest flights - fly to the Canaries and the Middle East
airBaltic’s fleet limits the airline to a range of about 6000 km. This allows it to cover many of Europe’s largest airports and easily reach popular leisure destinations in the South.
It operates direct flights to as far as the Canary Islands of Spain and the heart of the Middle East. Here are some examples:
Riga (RIX) - Dubai (DXB): Currently, airBaltic is the only airline offering this route to one of the world’s best-connected airports - Dubai.
Vilnius (VNO) - Dubai (DXB): A seasonal flight from Lithuania to the UAE, operated 3-4 times per week between October and March.
Tallinn (TLN) - Tenerife South (TFS): A seasonal flight to one of the major airports in the Canary Islands. airBaltic also flies to TFS from Riga and Vilnius.
Riga (RIX) - Las Palmas (LPA): During the European winter, airBaltic sets up a seasonal base at Las Palmas, serving flights not only to the three Baltic capitals but also to Sandefjord and Molde in Norway, Billund in Denmark, and Ljubljana in Slovenia.
Other leisure destinations that airBaltic serves include Funchal (Madeira) and Faro in Portugal, Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt, and Palma de Mallorca and Alicante in Spain.
